For Jonathan’s entire career, his passion has been education. He’s taught in public and private schools, traveled around the globe to assist in improving education standards in the developing world, and most recently served as the Lower School Principal at Lipscomb Academy from 2012 to 2020.  He believes that education is a lever that God uses to raise leaders for His glory.

For the past seven years, Shawna has dug deep into Christ-centered holistic development. Her work with Mission Lazarus in Honduras and Haiti, and most recently in the Nashville refugee community, has ignited a passion within her to support the whole person so they can reach their full God-given potential. She is also passionate about showing radical hospitality and bringing people and communities together for the sake of Kingdom-building.

Jonathan (Executive Director) and Shawna (Director of Family and Community Engagement) have four beautiful children- Silas (19), Eli (16), Cooper (16), and Zuri (12)- and the very best dog named Tuck. They have lived in Nashville since 2001.
